Life is full of unexpected turns, and as we all know, things never go 100% according to plan. My blog is about bush-pilot experiences and the things I get myself into as a pilot.
“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” – Leonardo Da Vinci
It would be another 384 years after his death that the first successful heavier-than-air powered aircraft would fly (1903). Yes, it is true that kites and various other forms were used to put man in the air, but Mr. Da Vinci envisioned, and most likely catalysed the advancement towards achieving powered flight.
The aviation bug bit me hard and from as young as I can remember all things aviation fascinates me! My aim is to inspire, motivate and create a sense of pride for everyone who shares the love of flying. I completed my commercial pilots license in Cape Town, South Africa in 2013 and have flown the last year and a half in Namibia. Currently, I am flying in Eastern Zambia.
Whenever I get the chance to capture an image that I feel is pleasant on the eye, I do so with my Canon 7D and a variety of lenses. Photography has become a great pastime for me, always trying to achieve a clear, vivid and focused image. I hope you enjoy my Blog and the PortfolioI have created so far!
